Base Edge Caps - General Information:
Kenco Base Edge Caps help avoid unnecessary replacement of worn loader bucket base edges, a task that is expensive, time consuming, and requires special tools. Held in place with existing cutting edge bolts (simply use 1/2" longer bolts), they protect 100% of the base edge with AR steel. For longer wearlife, the high-wear bevel area is tungsten carbide impregnated on all Kenco Base Edge Caps. Product literature (PDF).
IMPORTANT NOTE: The optimal Base Edge Cap bevel angle may be different for each loader bucket. View the Kenco Angle Finder video for a method to measure the proper bevel angle for a specific bucket.
